Did you use kratom recreationally? Corey's kratom use escalated to the point where he was buying 48-bottle cases to ensure he didn't run out. A couple days in jail withdrawaling hard, followed by an almost two-week hospital stay and then a month in drug rehab, Corey celebrated 13 months kratom free on August 2, 2024.

Austin was age 25 when his dad found him deceased in the family's basement. According to the post-death toxicology and autopsy reports, he did not have pre-existing conditions nor any illicit or prescription drugs in his system.

Saying no to "People Pleasing". Opiate free for almost 20 years and booze free for almost 15 years, but prone to transfer addictions, Shane started taking kratom mostly to address mental health issues. But with his first couple kratom uses, he had that "oh I like this" similar to using opiates. After figuring out he had a mental health misdiagnosis, during his second and hopefully his last kratom quit, Shane is using supplements, SMART Recovery and kratom meetings to avoid his inner voice justifying him returning to kratom.
